Got a call from someone claiming to be with the 'energy and utility office' or something like that - clearly a scam from an Indian call centre. Just hang up, don’t even bother answering!

I got a call from someone claiming my electricity deal with Eon was about to end, but I’m not even a customer there. He wanted to offer me a new deal, but when I tried to ring back, the call wouldn’t go through. The man spoke with an Indian accent, which makes me think it was one of those usual spam calls. Definitely felt a bit sketchy to me. Just a reminder, never share your bank details with callers like that!
