Got a call from someone claiming to be with Dojo, trying to pitch some Christmas deals on their card readers. Funny thing is, we already use Doho machines at work. So I asked if they had our company details ready, like they should if they were legit. Instead of confirming, they pushed me to give them our account info, even asking for bank details linked to the account. That’s when I just ended the call. Definitely a scam and not someone from Dojo, as I have a direct contact there myself. Total scam alert!

02080595310 called me from some Indian woman who was really pushy trying to make me “sign up” for a card reader. I said no several times, but she just got louder, shouting that it was free and they’d give me up to £1 million or something. I told her off to stop shouting and firmly said we weren’t interested, telling her to listen properly and that I said NO. We haven’t had a card reader for over 15 years and don’t want one now, so why keep pestering me after I said no repeatedly? Proper annoying!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Bob Stone from OFGEM, saying there was a national probe about me supposedly paying too much on my energy bills. I received the initial call from a lady with an Asian accent, who was jabbering away at quite a pace, introducing herself as a business consultant.
