Definitely insurance dodgers calling me up. Best bet? Either just block 'em or have a bit of fun with them. One time I tried telling them my car was the Batmobile - cracked me up! :)

Apparently, they think I got into a car crash or something and that my vehicle's wrecked. Problem is, I don’t even own a car!

So this bloke rings me up asking if I’d been in some sort of accident. Claimed he worked for a claims firm and that he’d got my contact through the MIB. Then out of nowhere, he starts cussing at me. I ended the call, but then he rings back from two more different numbers. The numbers he used were: - 020 8059 4993 - 020 3994 8857 - 0131 381 1386

I saw this number pop up a couple times and thought it was spam, so I just ignored it. Later, another call came from 07418 373451, a guy on the line claimed to be with Accident claims line - I quickly ended the call. Then I noticed a call from 07418 372943 but didn’t bother answering that one either.

Total scammer! I told him off the first time I answered, said some choice words, and yet he had the cheek to ring me back again. Ridiculous.

Got a call from some scammer claiming it was about road accident compensation. They kept asking why I was hanging up and blocking their numbers. They had no real info, just insisted I’d been in a road accident sometime in the last couple of years. Total rubbish.

I put my car up for sale on Gumtree and soon got a message asking me to email [email protected]. The guy said the car was a present for his daughter’s birthday. He asked if I could do PayPal, but I said no. Then he claimed he was disabled and insisted I take down the ad right away and only accept PayPal. I told him again I couldn’t use PayPal. After that, he said he’d only use PayPal once and that I should cover the cost for the pickup. I turned him down straight away, and right after that, I got a call from the number 02080594993.
