I got this bloke who claimed he was checking if my gas boiler cover was about to expire and asked if I wanted to renew it. He said he was from some company called Gas Plan. I told him I’m actually with Gas Care, not Gas Plan. Then he said sorry for any bother and that he would fix the details online. He even read out my address and phone number, which really freaked me out. Just a heads up, this guy’s a con artist, so watch out!

When I answered, the person on the other end stayed completely quiet for like 4 or 5 seconds. Just silence the whole time. Really annoying...
