It's clear that these con artists are preying on the elderly. A gentleman with an Asian accent rang my grandmother several times about her pension. I quickly confiscated her phone and demanded that he reveal who he was, but he hung up without hesitation.

Sometimes I get a call from a number that always begins the same way, they ring and as soon as I pick up, they just hang up. Told them to do one already!

Wondering when the officials will finally take serious action against these pesky scam calls? My bet is, probably never! The moment you pick up, they just drop the call. I've blocked the number now, but it's only a matter of time before they ring back from a new, barely changed number!!!
