I've been receiving calls from an Indian call centre regarding a debt that doesn’t actually exist. It's quite baffling!

I received a call from someone claiming to be inquiring about some debts I apparently owe. To be perfectly frank, I’ve never had any such debts. This individual went on to say he was part of some government-endorsed scheme that could allegedly wipe out half of what I supposedly owed. Sounds utterly dodgy to me!
