I received a rather alarming call claiming my internet would be cut off due to some supposed unlawful activity. They instructed me to press 1 to connect with someone, but I thought it best to just hang up instead.

Just got a call from 02080588612, definitely one of those internet scam numbers. I’ve blocked it straight away. Better safe than sorry!

I got a missed call from this number, so I tried calling back, but when I did, it said something like ‘number’s not in service’ or whatever. Bit weird really.
