Got a call from someone saying they were from EE offering a deal on upgrading my phone. Sounded dodgy, so I just blocked the number. Definitely a scam.

This number rang me twice just one after the other on my phone. Neither call left any voicemail but the line stayed open for a bit. It sounded like a lot of chatter in the background, maybe some kind of call centre? This happened on a public holiday here in the UK.
