Got a phone call from a bloke named Luke saying he was from Debt Solvers. He claimed he’d received details from the FCA about me having some unsecured debts I was supposedly paying off every month. Told him that wasn’t true and he quickly ended the call. Seems like a scam trying to push people into signing up for an IVA. Watch out for this one!

So this afternoon, some bloke claimed he was with the British government and wanted to help me merge all my debts into a single payment. When I asked if he was working for Boris, suddenly he just hung up. Then I blocked the number straight away.

Had a rather dodgy call from a chap trying to peddle a debt solution, but the irony is, I have no debts! It’s baffling how some folk will go to such lengths to con people. Can’t believe they thought I’d fall for that nonsense!

This so-called debt relief company is nothing but a scam. Steer clear of them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with "debt solvers". They told me they retrieved my details from some official government site showing my debts. When I asked if I owed anything, I told them it was none of their concern and insisted they delete my info under GDPR rules. They nicely agreed to erase my data and then hung up. I’ve flagged this number as risky since I’m lucky enough to have no debts, so it seemed like a phishing attempt to me.

I received a rather peculiar call at home the other day. The caller instructed my mother to purchase a Google Play card worth £150, claiming that she would then be reimbursed with £3000 due to a tax rebate. The number that rang us was 02080586015, and they provided a callback number: 02071934683. Quite fishy, wouldn’t you agree?

I kept saying HELLO over and over for ages before someone finally answered. Then this guy with an Asian accent comes on and says, "HELLO, my name is Ryan" like who even says that? He claimed he was calling from some gas company or something, but I just told him NO THANKS and slammed the phone down!

If you wanna help stop scams, text the phone number 7726 to report dodgy calls or texts. This makes the phone companies flag the number as suspicious. Sadly you can't report scam tries straight to the police’s Action Fraud website anymore, that’s been shut down - probably to save money? If you find that annoying, maybe tell your MP. You can still send pictures of scam texts by email to the cyber crime unit at ‘[email protected]’, and don’t forget to forward them to 7726 as well.

Gets calls all the time from this education firm called "Tutorpedia" out of Kolkata. They keep pushing their courses even though it feels like they know these cold calls aren’t exactly above board. Proper dodgy behaviour, if you ask me.

TheTutorpedia.com seems to be on the hunt for clients for their educational offerings. They're completely overlooking the Telephone Preference Service, as well as disregarding GDPR regulations. It feels as if they couldn't care less, likely because they operate out of Kolkata, India, putting them beyond the reach of UK legislation.

some bloke said to be from 02 told me he'd send a code but warned me not to share it with anyone, not even them. he asked me to hang on the line while i went to my messages and clicked the code. i said i wasn't going to do that and would ring 02 myself to verify. then this guy, with a foreign accent, called me a bloody idiot and hung up. this number’s called me at least 20 times before, just switching up the last two digits, and ive put them all on block now.
