A chap from a loft insulation company reached out to me the other day. It was one of those sales calls, you know?

I suspect that this was a classic phishing attempt. The same person hounded me repeatedly, ringing me time and again, insisting that I complete a complimentary loft insulation survey. He seemed rather keen to arrange a visit from one of his team to inspect the loft insulation in my home. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

Got a call from someone speaking with an accent, claiming to be about insulation and knew my name. Sounded dodgy, so I’ve just blocked the number now. Classic scam stuff.

Today, 6th June 2022 around 2:30pm, I got a call from 02080583871. A woman with an Asian accent kept asking about the kind of loft insulation I have. She sounded familiar, like she’d called me before and repeated the same questions. I told her I’d just had a new roof done and that the loft insulation was fine. Didn’t even let her finish before I ended the call. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of these calls from numbers based in London - seem like scams to me.

I received a call from someone inquiring if they were on the line with Mr ****. Naturally, I probed a bit and asked who it was. To my surprise, they refused to divulge any details. Instead, they pressed me again, asking if I happened to be Mr ****. I cheekily replied that I couldn’t reveal that information, and promptly, they hung up in a huff! Quite amusing, really! 😄
