3 years020 80583227 Got a call from a smooth-talking guy with an Indian accent who knew my full name and even rattled off my address and postcode. Claimed he was ringing from Domestic and General, saying they’d checked my papers and since I hadn’t made any claims, I qualified for a discount. He spouted details about my policy, the type of coverage, and the direct debit payments. He promised the paperwork would arrive within a week. When I wouldn’t give him direct debit info, he said he’d just use the details they already had, which sounded a bit dodgy to me. I rang up Domestic & General (where I actually do have insurance) and they confirmed it definitely wasn’t them on the phone - pure scam. Watch out for this one.
