Got a call from some dodgy lot claiming they're from British Gas, but you can hear loads of other scammers chatting away in the background through their awful headset. Seriously, just add this number to your blacklist and don’t waste your time talking to these muppets.

Last week I got a call from someone saying they were Aviva about this accident I wasn’t at fault in. They asked if I’d spoken to a solicitor yet. I mentioned I had a meeting with mine tomorrow, but the guy on the phone wanted me to cancel it, saying they already had £5,000 ready to pay me. I told him my solicitor said I should be looking at around five million at least. As soon as I said that, the bloke just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be legal advisors for an insurance company about a car accident I supposedly had years back. Thing is, I’ve never crashed a car in my life. When I asked where they got my phone number, they just kept mentioning some "third party" without giving any real answers. Definitely felt a bit dodgy to me.

This call was clearly a scam. The person on the line claimed it was regarding compensation for a car accident. When I told them I hadn’t been in any accident, they insisted I was just a bystander in one. I kept telling them I wasn’t connected to any incident, then they speculated it might involve a pedestrian or a cyclist. After that, they said they’d fix the record and cancel the compensation. I asked when this accident supposedly happened, and then they suggested it could have been my husband or daughter involved. In the end, they just hung up on me. For the record, I don’t even drive and don’t have a daughter.
