I got a call from someone claiming to be from Approved Energy, BBC International, or possibly some other outfit, saying they could give me "independent" advice about renewing my gas or electric contract. They pushed a deal with BES Utilities or another firm that’s linked to them somehow. Turns out, the directors behind all these companies are Andrew James Pilley and Michelle Caron Davidson. Honestly, steer well clear of them, they’re trouble.

I picked up the phone and just held for a couple of seconds like usual, then hung up before anyone even said who they were. Classic cold call tactics!
