0208055520 - They say they’re from Carphone Warehouse and have rung me a few times already. I told them to take me off their list (if they really are from Carphone Warehouse), but the bloke kept talking over me and ignoring my request. Sounds dodgy to me. Definitely a scam, so don’t bother giving out any info or wasting your time with these lot.

Called my nan for the first time and she just hung up right away. Then they tried ringing her a couple more times. I was pretty surprised when I checked and saw the number’s from London, especially since we’re based in Wales and they usually seem to ring folks around that way.

Some lady on the line said she was calling from Carphone Warehouse, but it all felt off so I didn't say much before ending the call. I normally just ignore any unknown numbers but answered this one since the area code looked local. Turns out it was a scam, I’ve never dealt with Carphone Warehouse and a quick search of the number showed no links to them. Blocked it straight away. Would advise you to do likewise.

A woman rang saying she was from Carphone Warehouse and that my iPhone was ready, asking for my credit card details to finish the order. I said no thanks. A few days later, I got a call from a mobile number 07471 739958, this time a bloke with the same accent saying he was from Carphone Warehouse and asking if I wanted to upgrade my contract. He couldn’t tell me who I was or which network my supposed contract was with. When I mentioned the woman who’d called me before, he said he had no idea who she was. Total scammers, complete lies.

Got a missed call from this number earlier, and I usually don’t pick up if I don’t know who’s calling. If it was urgent, they’d leave a voicemail, right? I’m really glad I looked it up here though, because after reading other people's experiences, it’s clear this is a scam. It’s so upsetting how some people try to exploit others, especially in tough situations like this. Best to just ignore and block this number!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was calling from Carphone Warehouse offering me an iPhone.
