I got a call from a woman who spoke with a thick Indian accent, and she actually knew my first name. She was asking about some damage and damp issues at my place, stuff I'd mentioned to the council but nothing had been sorted yet. I ended up sending photos of the mould and damp to a Whatsapp number she gave me. After that, a guy with a Korean accent phoned me. They’re now constantly requesting my rent reference number and even want to access my Newham account, which seems a bit odd to me.

So it was one of those telesales firms, I phoned them back by mistake. Everything they say is recorded - calls monitored and probably everything else too. Honestly, just don’t answer or bother calling back, best to ignore them altogether.
