The bloke on the other end then switched to a rather unsettlingly deep voice, complimenting me on my voice and asking about my age. I stuck to my fib and said I was around 15 or 16, only for him to make some rather inappropriate remarks about whether I had a boyfriend, suggesting he'd like to take me out for wine and whatnot. I felt so uncomfortable that I could barely catch my breath before hanging up. In my frustration, I told him he ought to be behind bars, and then he had the audacity to keep ringing back, which forced me to block him. Thankfully, I’m 22, but the thought of what he might do to someone genuinely younger is chilling.
