When I asked how they got my details, they just said some partner firm but wouldn’t say which one. They kept mentioning Manchester but when I checked, there’s no official company registered. I ended the call after warning them about GDPR rules. Watch out, these lot are probably scammers!

A guy from India called me, seemed to know where I live, and asked if I owned the place. I told him to stop beating around the bush and say what he was actually offering. He said it wasn't really a sales call, but they were doing some kind of survey about fuel prices. I told him we were fine and hung up.

Upon expressing my disinterest in discussing loft insulation, the bloke got rather worked up, insisting he wasn't trying to sell me anything-just providing advice due to soaring energy costs. He was quite pushy about connecting me with his colleague, reiterating that there was no sales pitch involved. At that point, I decided enough was enough and promptly ended the call, blocking the number without a second thought.

After a pause, they started talking about checking loft insulation and if there was any mould. Honestly, get a grip! These scammers need to come up with better stories instead of trying the same old tricks to scam us out of cash.

I got a call from this place claiming to be from Dogs Trust, following up on a donation I made. Turns out, Dogs Trust had passed on my info to some call centre without asking me first. Really frustrating! What annoyed me more was the call centre never mentioned they weren’t actually Dogs Trust, I only figured it out because they accidentally let slip. Proper cheeky if you ask me.
