Just like the other reviews here, I received a call from a woman speaking with a strong accent (possibly Indian?), who claimed to represent EE and was pushing an iPhone upgrade. She was rather vague, only stating "you can retain your existing data and number" without actually confirming any specific details about a real EE customer - which is what you’d usually expect from their representatives. It’s clear this is a scam, and I highly recommend that anyone who encounters this report it to the appropriate authorities at the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) - https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. I have to report around 30 of these dodgy numbers each month to them!

An Indian woman mentioned she was from Eastern Europe. I advised her to ring me next week, and then I promptly blocked her number.

I just had a rather amusing encounter with an Indian lady who insisted she was from EE, attempting to entice me with an offer for an iPhone 14 Pro Max, complete with unlimited data, calls, and texts for the bargain price of £9 monthly. When I informed her that I’m not even a customer of EE, she promptly cut the call. Quite the cheeky sales tactic, if you ask me!

I received a call from a chap with a strong Indian accent, purporting to be from EE about a contract upgrade. When I mentioned that I had only signed a 24-month agreement a few months back, he abruptly hung up on me. It’s quite evident this was a scam call!

Received a dodgy call today. When I picked up, all I got was a robotic voice bidding me farewell. Quite bizarre, really!
