This guy kept going on about being some kind of energy advisor. Really aggressive about it. I made it clear I didn't want to chat and blocked him straight away. Not the first time he's called me either, had a different London number last time.

I usually wait for the answerphone before picking up landline calls. This time there was only music playing, then the line went dead. Pretty sure it’s some sort of scam, so I’ve just blocked the number.

Got a call on my home phone yesterday from this number, the person said they were with Diamond Resorts and that I had an outstanding balance. Funny thing is, about three weeks ago, the same number rang me too, also saying they were from Diamond Resorts but this time claiming they owed me money. Neither time did they give any specifics. I’ve blocked the number now for sure. Sounds like a proper scam to me.

Somebody rang saying they were from my car insurer and started asking for info about a crash. I told them if they were really my insurer, they'd already know all that stuff. They just ended the call after that.

I keep all unknown numbers muted on my iPhone so I don’t get annoyed by spam calls. From what I’m seeing in the comments, this number is definitely dodgy - it uses VOIP to make it seem like it’s calling from London. At night I also have my phone on silent for everyone except my favourite contacts. Later on, I look through the silenced calls to see if any are scams, and this one definitely is.

About 30 minutes ago I got a call from this number but ignored it since I didn’t recognise it. After seeing other reviews here, it’s clear it’s a scam, just as I feared. Honestly, people like this should be in jail instead of pestering honest folks.

Got a call from this firm about a free loft insulation check. I’m on the TPS list, so pretty surprised they called. Didn’t plan on accepting anything, but I let the guy waste his time so he might not bother someone else. He was trying to sell spray foam, which I’ve heard can bring condensation problems and might make mortgage companies refuse your loan unless it’s taken out. Feels like a total scam to me.

This number has been bothering me for months with never-ending calls. Today they rang as early as 8:30 in the morning, which is very upsetting - an early call usually means bad news! When my answerphone is switched on, they never leave a message. If it’s off, they keep ringing non-stop until the answerphone kicks in after about 15 rings, then they just hang up without saying anything. I’m at my wits’ end trying to figure out how to make it stop. I’m seriously thinking about ditching my BT landline altogether - is that the only way?

I keep getting calls from my area energy consultant but now they’re using another number. It’s really getting annoying. No matter how many times I block these numbers, the calls just don’t stop. Each time they find a new number, even though I’ve put them all on my block list. Totally sounds like one of those scam calls. The voice was really hard to understand, then they mentioned putting me through to someone else, but the call just dropped instead.

This afternoon I had a call about insulation, and when I told the person their phone number might be connected to scams, they just dropped the call straight away. Earlier, around lunchtime, I noticed a similar number (0020 8058 9948) ring me but I didn't pick up, and there was no voicemail left. Seems to me like both these numbers probably belong to the same group.
