This number rings me up quite a lot during the week. Each time it’s a different person on the line. At first, I assumed it was Sky since I’m a subscriber. I had a quick chat with them, and they seemed nice enough, mentioning some kind of deal to lower my bills. Things got suspicious when they started requesting personal details, so I contacted Sky myself to verify. Turns out it’s been a scam all along. Feels like they might have somehow got hold of Sky customers’ info. Been like this for nearly a year now.

Loads of calls claiming to be Vodafone have been coming through on my phone recently. Funny thing is, the number always begins with 0208058.

Loads of calls from numbers beginning with 020 8058 keep popping up. The dodgy callers seem to switch up the final four digits all the time. Thankfully, O2’s automatic block on my account stops them ringing through, so I just see a missed call alert and that’s it.

This number keeps ringing me multiple times a day. They go on about that accident story, which I’ve heard a million times. Looks like some scam from Pakistan or somewhere. Total waste of time.

Blast! Those calls are driving me nuts, but seriously, what’s the solution here?

I keep getting 2 or 3 calls daily from this number. I try blocking them but they always call from slightly different versions of the 0208058 number, with different last digits. When I remove the block, they call again from new numbers, so my block list just keeps growing. It’s proper frustrating.

I’ve been getting loads of scam calls from London numbers lately, especially ones that start with:

020 3986
020 3789
020 8058

I’m sure there’ll be more popping up since they seem to keep switching them around.

Now, I just block any call showing a London number straight away without even bothering to check.

Once, I accidentally rang one back and all I got was a message saying “number not recognised” or something similar - so these scammers are obviously spoofing the numbers, which explains why I never get the same one twice.

I’m sharing this on every caller ID site I know to warn others. Also, if you’re a proper London caller, maybe try texting first to say why you’re calling, because I reckon loads of people will just be blocking London numbers outright from now on.
