I’ve taken to ignoring any calls that originate from “London” entirely-it's a straight block for me now.
I unintentionally returned one of their calls only to hear “this number is not recognised”-a clear indication that these nefarious individuals are employing number spoofing, which explains why they never stick to the same digits for long.
I’m sharing this message on all the “call verification” sites I can find to warn others, and I’d like to urge any legitimate London callers to consider sending a text message with the purpose of their call. I fear we might see a surge of London numbers getting blocked left, right, and centre.
