Got a call from a woman about some "special tariff" deal. She didn't care what we had to say and just kept going on. Ended up hanging up on her. Total scam.

This number keeps ringing me up with some "amazing" deal for my sim-only plan, but it’s a total rip-off. Just block it and steer clear, trust me.

Got a scam call from someone named Sam, claimed to be from O2 and promised cheaper business rates. They had all my details - name, postcode, type of business, which is easy to find online. They tried to use that info to sound legit when I called them out. The bloke even said this is what he does for a living! They honestly should be punished for this. I told them off and hung up, but they kept ringing back! Such horrible people, really hope they get caught for ripping others off!

This bloke claimed he was with o2 and said the number was registered as a business line but linked to a personal contract. When I asked for the account owner, he got really pushy after I said they’d ring o2 back when convenient. He kept insisting there was no need to call back since that’s why they were ringing, and kept pressing for another number to get hold of him on.

Got a call from this number at about 2:54 in the afternoon yesterday. The bloke on the phone was speaking really quietly, so I couldn’t catch everything he said, but it was something about my phone and internet. I told him I already get my landline, broadband, and cable TV all from one provider, so I wasn’t interested in switching.

I've been getting persistently annoying calls from someone who's intent on peddling absolute nonsense. They just won't take a hint!

Pretty much the same thing as others have said here. The caller claimed to be from O2, but my phone isn't even with them. He mentioned some business rates discount or something, but this is just my personal line. I told him I wasn't interested and he finished with, "We'll update our records." I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Just some loser with too much time on their hands. Honestly, go find something useful to do. I don't want anything from you, clearly you're a total waste and probably surrounded by the same kind of rubbish.

Someone called saying they were from O2, but I’m not even with them so I ended the call quickly. Then they called again and got annoyed when I hung up. I told them they were cold calling and calling twice was harassment, then I ended it again. They tried a third time but I ignored and blocked the number.

I got a call around 10:30am today (5th October 2021) and the person didn’t bother to say who they were or which company they were from! They didn’t even know if I was the right person and wanted to talk about some business account. I explained I’m just a private individual and don’t have any business. Plus, my number is a Pay-As-You-Go, which most businesses don’t use anyway! They just said they’d "correct their records" and that was it.

At first I thought it was O2 ringing me, they tried to pitch some business opportunity for self-employed folks. The deal sounded alright to begin with, but when I asked for the contract they claimed phone scams were done and dusted in 2021! I told them any proper company would show the contract before switching my plan, then they said they would send it over and call me the next day. Of course, I never got another call. What’s creepiest is they had loads of my personal info, no clue where they dug that up from.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2 trying to sell me a better business plan. They asked if I was the account holder, I said yes, then they called me Mr. Gibson - which isn’t my name. I told them they’d got it wrong (maybe shouldn’t have), then they kept going on about a cheaper plan, even though I’m certain my current deal is top-notch, and they clearly didn’t know the details. I got really suspicious and ended it, saying I was busy and to ring later. After reading the comments here, I definitely won’t pick up if they try again.
