Got a robo call saying I'm under investigation for tax dodging and there's an arrest warrant out for me. They said to ring them back to sort it out.

Got a call from someone who said they were Tracy Gilbert doing a survey for NFU Mutual, and they even knew my name. When I asked for more details, they got a bit dodgy. Be careful with these calls!

I got a call from someone who said they were doing a survey for NFU Mutual and actually knew my name. When I asked for more details, she told me her name was Tracy Gilbert. Just a heads up, be careful with calls like this.

Got a call from a woman speaking with a Yorkshire accent claiming she was doing a survey for Phoenix Life? I’d never heard of the company myself. She mentioned maybe another firm had asked them to conduct the survey, but she wasn’t able to tell me who. Ended up cutting the call and blocking the number.

Got a call on Wednesday at 8:52pm, answered it but they just cut off straight away. Haven't had a dodgy call like that for a long time, pretty sure it was some kind of scam.

Last night, around 7:30, a lass with a Yorkshire or Lancashire tone called me up, saying she was doing marketing work for standard life. I just told her "not interested" and she quickly ended the call.

So this lady called me, said she was doing a survey for the mortgage firm I use. Seemed pretty legit at first, but you hear that all the time these days. I just hung up without sharing any of my details.

I asked who they wanted before saying I was them, but the guy wouldn’t tell me what he wanted and then just cut me off. He had a strong Indian accent. It was on my landline, so blocking isn’t an option, but I’ve saved the number so I won’t pick up if they ring again.

Someone called me saying they had a survey for Standard Life. The questions didn’t seem right, so I’m planning to ring Standard Life myself in the morning to check if it was genuine. I’m not comfortable answering stuff like that over the phone.
