Had the exact same thing happen to me. Pretty obvious it’s a con.

Got two calls back to back from a woman with a really thick Indian accent. She kept saying she’d ring again tomorrow to confirm some kind of verification because my number might get blocked soon. Honestly, her accent was so strong I had a hard time catching what she was on about. My phone flagged the caller as likely spam. I told her there’s no way my number’s getting blocked and asked her to stop phoning me. I’ve since blocked the number.
