Got a call on my landline about nearly £70 in vouchers supposedly owed to me from some car service. Total scam, never even heard of that company and my car always gets serviced at my regular garage.

They kept trying to tempt me with vouchers - started with a £100 one, then £50, then £25. Said they’d send them through the post. Total scam, but I’m not sure what they were trying to get out of the call. Didn’t share any personal details, so dunno how they’d scam me. Just hoping they weren’t using some AI to pick up my voice and copy it or something.

About a month back, they started ringing me from this slightly different 0208 056 number. I spent a week blocking the number, thinking they’d given up. But nope, after three weeks of silence, those #### are ringing again!

This number rang me on the 21st, 24th and 25th of June, then again the 1st and 2nd of July, and once more this morning. Sadly, I didn't pay much attention and ended up picking up this afternoon by mistake. The person sounded like a woman with an American accent, talking about a Rewards Club and £70 vouchers before one of us cut the call. I noticed others mention that this number might be linked to Easylife - I’ve had trouble with them previously...

Got a call from a lady with an American accent saying I’d get £100 in vouchers from some ‘Rewards’ thing because I bought something back in September 2020. She even knew what I’d bought, which made me realise it was from Easylife. She mentioned three different deals where you get vouchers if you sign up for a 28 day free trial of some ‘clubs’ or something. I just ended the call.

A lady called me, claiming I was eligible for some reward vouchers. She rambled on for quite a spell, then brought up this book club that requires a quarterly subscription and, oddly enough, my bank details. I told her I wasn't interested and ended the call. To make matters worse, this so-called Reward Club tried to reach me again last night, but my son told them I wasn’t in. They’re rather insistent, aren’t they?

On the 18th of June 2024, I received a pair of calls from the number 02080561091, first on my mobile and then shortly after on my landline, all within a mere half-hour. The calls ended abruptly once they hit my phone blocker. They claimed to be offering free vouchers related to a transaction I had with Easylife back in 2022! It’s evident this is nothing more than a scam.

I got a call from a lady who claimed to be from The Reward Club. She said because of something I bought back in 2020, I was owed some kind of vouchers. It’s been so long I honestly can’t remember what it was. Seemed like the call was just a way to maybe get me to sign up for something dodgy. I ended the call pretty quick. I received a phone call from a woman with an American accent claiming I’d won a £100 voucher, which she intended to send to my home address. When I inquired about the reason behind this so-called prize, she mentioned it was due to a purchase I had made from a catalogue, but when I pressed her for details on what I had supposedly bought, she couldn’t provide any specifics. She went on to say her company manages a variety of reward schemes across the UK. I informed her not to send anything and expressed my concern since she had my address, and my phone number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

This number rings me loads of times but with different last 4 digits every time. I never pick up so I can’t really say for sure, but a mate of mine got calls from the same or similar ones claiming they were from some kind of rewards club. Since she never does online shopping, she just ended the call straightaway. That’s why I never pick up if I don’t know the number. Someone phoned me claiming they had something to send out, saying they weren’t after anything in return. I asked what it was - apparently some discount vouchers. I said “just send them then”, but they said I had to listen to it being read out. I asked why and they replied “because it’s my job”. Then I asked which company they were from - “The Rewards Company.” When I looked them up, it turned out to be a subscription service, so they definitely want your money! Loads of people have reported having cash withdrawn from their bank without permission.

Picked up the phone 'cos it showed a local London number but instantly felt something was off. The caller kept going on about me supposedly buying something recently, which I never did, and said I’d be getting some vouchers sent through the post as a reward. The creepy bit was that he knew my name, my address, and was ringing my landline.
