I answered the phone but nobody said anything. When I tried calling back, an automated message came on, saying it was from Compare Cover insurance.

Someone rang me claiming to be from Amazon, saying there was an issue with an iPhone order. They said it was a fake transaction and that I had to confirm with a one-time code to stop it. I didn’t share any code and just hung up. They threatened that if I hung up, I’d be charged more than £700. Total scare tactics and completely dodgy.
