They've been ringing me persistently, but I haven’t picked up. Definitely a scam, without a doubt!

Well, what a stroke of luck! I received a call on my home phone announcing that I’d won a £90 voucher prize. However, I've no need for any vouchers, so I promptly ended the conversation and made sure to block the number.

I received a call from 02080560546, claiming to offer £70 in cash vouchers. I didn’t fancy it and decided to end the call.

Received a call the other day from a bloke claiming to represent the Rewards Club. He even had the cheek to mention my wife's name, saying she could be in line for rewards of up to £70 from some old catalogue order! Apparently, he needed her go-ahead to send the funds by post. I swiftly informed him that she wasn’t keen and hung up.

I've recently encountered a rather dubious scheme claiming to offer refunds for face masks bought ages ago. Be wary, as it seems to be a scam!

I made a few attempts yesterday—three, to be precise—and gave it another go this morning. Each time, it flagged the number as “Spam.” Just a heads up, stay vigilant!

Received a brief call from this number, but they didn’t leave any voicemail or respond when I picked up. Absolute nuisance! Just go away, will you?

Received a call that followed the typical pattern of a scam.

The caller hung up just as the voicemail was about to start. What a waste of time!

Received a call claiming I’d placed an order ages ago, and now they’re supposedly sending me vouchers. It struck me as rather dodgy, and it’s quite unsettling how they obtained my address.

Received a call not long ago claiming I was in the running for a £100 prize. I hung up immediately and then proceeded to block the number.

An offer of vouchers and a suggestion that I am a member of a club.

Called and there was complete silence on the other end before they ended the call.

I kept schtum for a bit (I never initiate chat with unfamiliar callers). She inquired if I was xxx, to which I responded by asking if she'd been raised without basic etiquette, like introducing oneself. She then went on about some ‘vouchers’. I told her to shove off and to remove my details, then promptly blocked her.

They were aware of both my name and my address, and they mentioned some sort of reward voucher linked to purchases from a catalogue—something that I never engage in.

Received a call and they hung up abruptly; quite possibly a scammer.

I just had a chat with a woman going on about some vouchers from the Reward Club – honestly, it seemed like one of those dodgy scam calls to me.

I found it quite tricky to comprehend the South African accent on the phone. The caller informed me that I was due to receive some sort of reward for purchases I had made ages ago. Shockingly, she even knew my address, which I hadn't revealed to anyone! She went on about a subscription to a magazine and mentioned vouchers as well. I made it clear that I was having difficulty understanding her accent and that I suspected it was a scam. I firmly told her not to send me anything because I had no interest in it. To my surprise, she ended the call in a jiffy. What really raised alarm bells was that she also knew my first name!

Just like many others, I keep receiving offers for £70 vouchers, which is rather amusing since it surpasses the amount I spent on the items I purchased online! One can only hope that the trustworthy retailer I placed my order with isn't selling our personal information to these dodgy characters. I didn't let her get a word in edgewise; I hung up straight away. What a right nuisance!
7 months
Utterly fraudulent!

It seems there’s a connection to a magazine subscription in the mix.

I just had a rather curious phone call from an individual sporting a typical American accent, claiming that a £100 voucher would be winging its way to me in the mail shortly, which I could use on just about anything. However, being fully aware that there's no such thing as a free lunch, I swiftly hung up the phone.

I've been receiving calls from this number daily throughout this week, always at 6:30 in the evening. I've just checked and realised it’s linked to a scam – I'll be adding yet another scammer's number to my blocked list!

On the 8th of May, 2024, I chose not to pick up because my phone identified it as a scam. They did leave a voicemail, but it was completely silent. Fast forward to the next day, the 9th of May, I didn't receive a call, yet there was a voicemail that oddly included my name, delivered in a rather nonsensical rhyme.

Received calls from this number the past couple of days. I chose not to pick up, and it seems they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either.

It’s quite clear that this is a scam concerning some vouchers and magazines. I've taken the liberty of reporting them to Action Fraud online, particularly since they had access to my name and address.

I received a call from 020 8056 0546, claiming I had been selected as a "favoured client" eligible for £70 worth of vouchers and a lifestyle magazine. Can you believe it? 😂 The caller referenced some of my personal information yet couldn't specify the company I supposedly made a purchase from. Utter rubbish, so I hung up. Just a heads up to everyone – tread carefully!

I received a dodgy call today, claiming that I could snag £70 worth of vouchers, and they provided me with an 0345 number to ring up and claim them. What was alarming is that they had my landline number and my first name! Definitely felt like a scam.

I had a rather dubious phone call today, claiming I could receive £70 in vouchers. They provided an 0345 number for me to ring if I wanted to claim them. Seems a bit fishy, if you ask me!

A lady rang me up claiming I'd qualified for some vouchers totalling £50, and she said a catalogue would be landing on my doorstep shortly. She was familiar with my name and address and brought up a previous purchase from 'Easy Life' that I had made. She pushed me to subscribe to the catalogue, but I firmly told her that I wasn’t interested. Despite my polite refusals, she kept pressing until I finally had to raise my voice to make it clear that I didn’t want anything sent my way. At that point, she abruptly ended the call.

Just received a dodgy call claiming I’ve miraculously won £100 from some kind of rewards programme. Sounded rather fishy to me!

Clearly, they were after our bank details! They seemed to have our name and address on hand, and didn’t take kindly to a firm “no”. It felt like they were trying to rope us into some sort of magazine subscription or similar nonsense. Their thick accent made things quite baffling, to be honest. Eventually, we decided to just cut the call short.

I recently got a call from the number 02080560546. The lady who was on the other end had a heavy accent that made it quite difficult for me to grasp what she was saying. Since I didn’t recognise the number, I've decided to block it. After doing a bit of digging, I found that this number is linked to something referred to as a 'Voucher Scam’.

I received a rather aggressive phone call claiming I was eligible for some vouchers and a complimentary trial of a magazine I’ve never heard of. Frankly, it felt more like harassment than a polite enquiry. I made it absolutely clear to them that I didn't want them to send me anything at all, nor did I wish to be enrolled in free trials that I'd then have to go through the trouble of cancelling. I warned them, quite firmly, that if they disregarded my wishes, I wouldn't hesitate to inform trading standards. It's concerning how they had my name, address, and home phone number on file.

Received a rather peculiar phone call today from a woman who offered me her name and a contact number, in case I chose to opt out of receiving three sets of catalogues. Apparently, it's a 28-day trial with absolutely no strings attached, and I could still keep all these vouchers valued at around £100. Intriguingly, she didn't request any personal details, yet they seemed to know my address. I've gone ahead and blocked the number, so I suppose I won't be seeing any of that correspondence come through the letterbox.

This number has been ringing me incessantly each day, often from different digits. Even after I've blocked them, they seem to pop up again with a fresh one! It's utterly maddening! They must be fairly new to this whole scam business since the voicemails they leave are downright ridiculous, with the sound of wailing children or some cartoon nonsense blaring away in the background.

If someone dangles a voucher over several months and then requests your bank details, in my opinion, that's a big red flag. I wouldn’t share any personal information with them. If I receive a call from a number I don’t recognise, I simply disregard it. I’d strongly recommend others do likewise!
