I received a phone call claiming to be from Premiere, where the individual presented an enticing offer of vouchers amounting to £70.00. They insisted that since I had purchased fruit trees from a client of theirs, I was now eligible for this deal. The caller rattled on incessantly, had a wealth of personal information about me, and persistently referred to me as Valerie. After a while, they began to pitch an all-encompassing package for drivers, covering insurance, repairs, and so on. They promised to send further details along with the vouchers in the post. I simply couldn’t help myself and responded with, "I'm afraid nothing comes free of charge. Thank you for your time, but I must decline. Goodbye."
