Got a call from some bloke with a American accent claiming they could get me cashback from insurance claims. Wouldn’t tell me which company he was from though. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone in the States while I was sat in a really noisy café, couldn’t catch the company’s name properly. They mentioned something about being a loyal customer and offering a voucher or something. It made me think it might’ve been Easylife again, since I've had loads of hassle with them. Had to get a new credit card because they kept taking money for puzzle books I never asked for, despite cancelling loads of times by letter, email and phone over a year ago. So I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from a bloke with an American accent who was speaking super quick about vouchers for gardening stuff and some magazine. Proper pushy fella! I told him I wasn’t bothered and just ended the call.

I politely declined, and then the individual, who sounded like an Indian woman, abruptly ended the call. Quite odd, to say the least!

I got a call from a guy who sounded Asian. He wanted to know my name, but when I asked who was calling, he just stayed silent. Then he kept pushing, insisting I tell him my name and saying he was calling from some office. I told him I don’t work anywhere like that, and I wasn’t sure where he got the number from. I ended the call and he didn’t bother calling again.
