I got a call around 1:30 in the afternoon from someone claiming to be with Greenpeace. They asked if they were talking to me, and when I said yes, they suddenly said “Oh, wrong number” and ended the call really fast. Felt like they were fishing for my name or something. Then the next day, I missed a call at about the same time from ‘0800 023 2588’. I looked it up and found out it’s actually an overseas number, not from the UK. Could be they shared my details somewhere? Quite fishy if you ask me.

was talking to someone claiming they were from greenpeace but i told them i was just about to leave the house and before i could say anything else, they hung up on me right away

02080560176 keeps ringing me continuously for ages now. I never pick up but they never bother to leave a voicemail or anything. Honestly, no clue who they are or what they want. They call at really random times too, like even early in the morning around 8am a few days back. Proper annoying!
