Some bloke phoned me pretending to work for the insurance company for my washing machine. He never gave his name but somehow knew my name and address, though he mixed up the brand of my washing machine. He started talking about a 75% off deal on insurance for three years and then asked for my bank details - which is nonsense, cause if I was with them already, they’d have that info. I told him I don’t share personal info with strangers and hung up. To my surprise, the same number rang back within half a minute. Definitely blocking this dodgy caller.

A person rang me up saying they were from some washing machine insurance company. They even knew what model I had and my address, which seemed odd. I refused to hand over any payment through the phone.
