I'm registered with TPS but still get a fair few calls. Most times I just let them ring out - that's what the answerphone's for, like having a door where you don’t have to answer every time. From what folks have said, lots of these are from accident claim firms. If I happen to pick up and have a moment (since I’m retired now), I sometimes mess around with them a bit, see how long they last. They usually hang up pretty quick when you don’t take them seriously.

Received a call from some voice recognition message, then suddenly got passed on to some bloke called David Miller. No way his name was David Miller though! Total cold call rubbish.
