Just got a call from someone saying they were with Vodafone, trying to sell me a deal on the new iPhone 14. It actually sounded quite convincing, like there were loads of people chatting at a busy call centre behind them. But I’m happy with my current phone and plan, so I politely ended it.

They say they're travel experts [###], but it’s just a dodgy holiday and flight firm behind it all. They refuse to take credit cards and push you to send money via bank transfer. Afterwards, they’ll try to upsell you with “upgrades”. Total con, the police are already looking into it.
