Totally sketchy call, looked like a straight up phishing scam. They pretended to be from my mobile provider (O2 for me) and said something about a "discount to save money". The person on the line had a heavy foreign accent and spoke in broken English most of the time, couldn’t even respond properly when I asked simple unrelated questions. Best to just block them right away.

Since I switched over to O2, this number has called me twice. I wasn’t really able to catch what the person was saying properly, but it sounded like she was trying to pitch some kind of mobile deal.

The line was really awful, crackling heaps with static noise. I told them not to ring me again and to take my number off their list, then I hung up and blocked the number. Later I double-checked with O2, and they said it was a scam. Honestly, best just to block these calls completely.
