I received a call from Ayming, a consultancy firm, claiming they were liaising with HMRC. Quite baffling, really, especially as it was a Saturday. I haven't a clue why they decided to reach out to me out of the blue! Totally unexpected and unsolicited, to boot.

I've been receiving calls from this number every single day, yet every time I pick up, all I get is silence. Out of curiosity, I called it back, and it turns out it's a firm named Ayming. They claim to collaborate with HMRC on matters relating to R&D legislation in the manufacturing sector. Quite frankly, it’s not on our radar at all. When I reached out to HMRC for clarification, they had never even heard of Ayming! - Caller identification: John.
