I received a call from someone purporting to represent a phone company, trying to entice me with an offer for an auto phone along with a discount that supposedly came with the use of some gift cards. However, they entirely failed to mention their company's name, which raises my suspicions. I'm fairly convinced this was just a scam attempt.

I received a call regarding a new mobile phone contract, and it seemed rather dodgy. The caller hesitated quite a bit when we mentioned that we would prefer to go directly through Tesco to sort everything out.
