Got a call from this super fake sounding woman with a really boring drone voice telling me about some books they were "sponsoring" for £189 this week. She said the campaign was wrapping up and thanked me for my support - problem is, we never heard of it, never signed up or paid a penny. Then she threatened to pass our info to the contracts team if we didn’t pay. Felt really dodgy, especially with all the rubbish scams going about these days. Proper disappointing there’s people out there pulling stuff like this.

She hung up just before bringing up any money stuff. Pretty clear it was a scam.
