020 8084 1467 has been ringing me up twice a day all week, they never bother to leave a message which makes me super suspicious. I looked it up on this site and yep, just another load of scammers as usual.

I got a call like that too and was a bit iffy about it at first, but I don't mind supporting the local schools. I got my copy of the book and the school I picked got theirs as well. The head teacher even rang me to say thanks and mentioned the books were great and would be put to good use.

Got a call about sending educational books to schools, so I picked a school to send to. Then, I got my own copy too. Lovely little books and the school did get theirs as promised. They said they’d actually use them, which is good. Not sure I’d do this every year since you hear about these kinda sponsorships being dodgy, but I wanted to check it out first. I’m glad I gave it a go and helped out my local schools. x

They keep ringing us & then just drop the call as soon as we pick up. Its been happening loads of times a day. This morning alone, they've tried 3 times already, which is really annoying. I'm sure they'll be calling loads more throughout the day and the rest of the week too. I talked to them before and found out it’s a scam trying to sell stuff to private & public schools. If you dont agree with them, they just end the call straight away.

They called me loads, so I eventually picked up just to make it stop. The woman claimed she spoke to me last December (she didn’t) and wanted to thank me for donating books about internet safety or something like that to schools. I told her I had no clue what she meant and she said she’d send it over to ‘queries’. My advice, don’t bother answering and just block the number.

I've been receiving two or three calls each day for the past week and a bit. It's quite odd-whenever I pick up, there's no one on the other end. Just like everyone else, it’s some kind of scam pushing book sponsorships. They call once a day, never bother leaving a voicemail, and won’t say who they actually are. They’re quite pushy too. Tried ringing back but the number was dead. If anyone knows where I can report this, please shout.

Glad to read the other comments here - this was obviously a dodgy scam trying to play on emotions about me supposedly sponsoring some safety books for a local school. When I told them I had no clue what they were on about, they just said thanks for wasting their time and that they’d bin the books! Honestly, life’s too short to deal with rubbish like this, and I can’t believe I’m even leaving this comment when I was in the middle of something important!

I received a call from this number, and it was just like the others claiming my campaign was triumphant. I informed her that there was no campaign whatsoever and that they were being downright cheeky. I decided to hang up and promptly blocked the number.

Got a call from someone claiming they talked to me back in Dec about an "anti bullying programme in a primary school". When I told her "that never happened", she just hung up. The woman sounded a bit slow and definitely had an English accent. I guess it's a bit different from the usual foreign sounding callers. Still, really frustrating. Got a call from a woman named Ashley claiming to be from SGS about some campaign. She insisted she’d already talked to our Director, which wasn’t true at all. When I asked what exactly they were offering, she got really rude and snappy. Then when I kept asking for details, she just hung up on me.

I had a similar experience today! A woman called me, claiming I had backed some 'Educational Booklet' for a school in Nottingham. She mentioned we had a chat in December, and she was thanking me for my supposed support. I simply replied that I had no idea what this was about, and before I could get any more information, she just cut the line. Ahh, the classic "you've sponsored books ready for a school you pick" trick. I thought that one had died out, but got a call today and was ready. I said, "Are you some kind of charity?" She said, "No, we're publishers." So I shot back, "Alright then, how about I give you the chip and pin for all my cards and you take everything from my account?" She hung up straight away.

They keep ringing us nearly every day. The last couple of times they wanted to talk to the director of our little company. But he hasn’t been available, so they just say they’ll ring back. I asked what it was about, and apparently it’s to thank us for some education books. I told them I don’t know anything about that, and she said she’d call again. Best to just ignore the number if it shows on your screen and don’t bother chatting with them.

Utter nonsense! When I pointed out it was clearly a scam, the woman accused me of being exceptionally rude and promptly ended the conversation.
