I picked up a call earlier today, and my phone rang an alarm regarding a possible scam. To my astonishment, there was indeed someone on the other end. They claimed to be representatives of a power switching outfit! I kindly informed them that I had no interest, as I'm currently enjoying a solid online deal with British Gas that’s locked in until November. Curious about exit fees, they then attempted to convince me of a supposedly superior offer, yet they didn’t bother to inquire about my current tariff or my energy usage whatsoever. Best to steer clear of them, it seemed their company went by the name of P owerplus!
