Got a call from 020 8049 7725 yesterday but didn’t pick up. No voicemail was left or anything. Tried ringing back today and it said the number isn’t valid or something like that. Pretty weird!

I received a call from this number on my mobile earlier today, but they didn't leave a voicemail. I'm assuming it was just some cold caller or a call centre trying their luck. When I attempted to return the call, the line was silent, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number. It’s quite frustrating, really-these nuisances should be banned! After all, aren’t cold calls and door-to-door sales supposed to be against the rules?

This firm sounded like those dodgy injury claim companies. I haven’t had a crash in over 15 years, so it was odd they called. Every time the woman tried to say something, I just kept replying with hello, hello, until she finally gave up and ended the call.

I’ve had a ‘missed call’ pop up on my phone. I tend to gloss over these, especially if the number is unfamiliar and no voicemail has been dropped. Best to keep my distance in those cases!
