4 yearsThe name in question is David, associated with Citizens Advice.DavidCitizens Advice4 yearsI received a phone call today from someone-David, I think he said-claiming to represent 'Citizens Advice' about some sort of 'debt' linked to my name. Quite peculiar, as the very same number rang me just yesterday, inquiring if I’d had my COVID jab. It’s glaringly obvious this is a scam, or perhaps a call centre full of clueless individuals who haven't the foggiest about their role. Best to just disregard these calls altogether.DavidCitizens Advice4 yearsI received a cheeky call from someone named David, who insisted he was representing Citizens Advice. We had a rather engaging chat about his rather dubious methods, but it seems he wasn't too chuffed with my responses, as he promptly hung up. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of these scams; if you do get caught up in one, well, I can only describe that as asking for trouble. If you recognise it for the sham it is, why not have a bit of fun and waste their time? It’s surprisingly amusing-I do it about five times a day! 😂DavidCitizens Advice4 yearsI got a call from a foreign number and when I picked up, the person on the other end asked for someone completely different. When I asked what the call was about, they just hung up. Probably some kind of telemarketer.4 yearsI got a call from something called 150 winners. They promised me free entries and said I was guaranteed to win. They asked for loads of my info, including bank details and account number. Then they hit me with a monthly fee of £39 starting from 25th March. After that, I just told them to stop and to delete all my personal data. I’m going to inform my bank about this too.4 yearsSo a mate came round and used my mobile wifi to download some game on their phone, then somehow a subscription got activated with Vodafone and they started charging me nearly £3 every week. Vodafone have switched off the subscription now, but they won’t let me end the wifi deal without hitting me with a massive fee. Proper annoying!VodafoneSubmit Your Own Report (020 8049 2823)
