I received a call from a lady claiming I'd been involved in a car accident, so I politely said, "I’m terribly sorry, but I’ve just signed with another company." She then insisted on transferring me to her manager to see what could be done. The supervisor reiterated what she had said, to which I expressed my confusion as well. Now, I can’t shake the feeling that this could be a representative from Vodafone mishandling my private information or perhaps it stems from a recent application I did for an Amazon Mastercard. No one else has my number, and I haven't had any marketing calls in four years, which just adds to the strangeness of it all! It feels quite fishy, and it’s been on my mind all night; it’s now gone past 1:28 a.m.! Given my ongoing health issues, this unexpected call has truly unsettled me, and I’m considering escalating this matter. I attempted to return the call, but it seems the number doesn’t accept incoming calls...
