Phone number ☎️ 02080449231 👆 is reported as a scam involving individuals impersonating a legitimate phone retailer, offering too-good-to-be-true deals on new phones like the latest iPhone. They contact victims via WhatsApp using professional language and branding to gain trust, then push for personal and banking information through suspicious links. Promises of fast delivery and low monthly payments come with inconsistent details and sudden requests for upfront “security deposits,” which is not standard practice. Victims notice delays, wrong product details, lack of proper contracts, and follow-up calls from different numbers. The whole scheme feels scripted and designed to steal personal and financial info. Users should watch out for pressure tactics, unrealistic offers, and inconsistent communication.

6 monthsJust want to share what happened to me so others don’t fall for the same scam I ran into on 4th February 2026. I got a WhatsApp message from someone named Harry, who said he was with “Phone House / Fone House Dispatch Team.” At first, he sounded proper and professional, telling me that my phone application was approved and asked if I preferred an Apple or Samsung. They used official-sounding words, mentioned encryption and branding, which made it seem genuine. I said I wanted the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, 2TB model. They offered a “special promo” at £49 a month over two years. According to them, the phone was brand new, sealed, unlocked, and I could keep my Vodafone number. They added extras like unlimited data, international calls, insurance, and even a 14-day free trial. It all sounded pretty tempting, maybe too good. They said delivery would be next day via DPD and asked for my full name, DOB, and address. Later, they sent links asking me to put in bank and card details, claiming it was just to “collect info” and not an actual payment. That set off alarm bells - trustworthy companies don't ask for sensitive info like this through random links. Things got weirder when their email confirmation said delivery was scheduled for April, not the next day like they’d promised. When I questioned it, they said it was an error and that they’d sent a corrected email. The constant mistakes and excuses felt very off. The biggest warning was when they suddenly said, because the phone was “quite pricey,” I had to pay a £98 “security deposit” that same day. They said it would be taken from my bank account but refunded once I got the phone, and my first bill would be on 1st March 2026. They even asked if I had £98 available in my account. That’s when I realised this was a complete scam. I blocked them on WhatsApp straightaway, reached out to my bank, froze my card, and ordered a replacement just in case. If you come across anything like this, watch out for ridiculously good deals, pressure to pay quick, requests for bank details via strange links, and inconsistent info. Always follow your gut. The WhatsApp number they used was +442046246977 and after blocking them, they called me from +44208449231.WhatsAppHarryPhone House / Fone House Dispatch TeamAppleSamsung8 monthsGot a call today from someone saying they were from the fonehouse. They tried to sell me an iPhone 17 promax for just £30 over two years with EE. Yeah, right, as if!EE8 monthsI was promised a mobile phone with a two-year contract, but the handset they sent wasn't the one I ordered, and I never received any official contract by email or post. Feels like they've set up a scam from the start.Submit Your Own Report (020 8044 9231)
