Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, using a London number I knew. He said he was from EE and offered me 40% off my phone bill, which grabbed my attention straight away. As he spoke, he asked me to check something by putting a pin code into Google or something, which felt off. Then he told me to open Gmail, and suddenly a pop-up showed up asking to reset access, meaning he was trying to get into my email. I quickly ended the call, but heads up - he had a pin ready, so if I'd gone along with it, he’d have gotten into my inbox for sure.
