Got a call from a bloke who said he was DCI Andrew Yates, telling me my driver's licence got cloned or summat. He started asking about my crypto stuff, which I no longer have, and as soon as I mentioned that, he just ended the call. Seems like a total scam to me, so watch out lads and lassies.

Got a call from someone claiming to be DCI Miles at Holborn police station, telling me they’d discovered a bunch of fake driving licences and one had my personal info on it. I asked for a contact number to call them back, and when I requested a case reference, the caller just ended the call straight away.

I spoke to DCI Myles, Badge number DF91, about crime ref 0418397/25 and he said crypto was not part of it. Then he just ended the call. He also mentioned that my phone might have been hacked.

I got a call from someone named DCI Myles who gave me a crime ref number 0418397\25, saying there’s been some issue with my driving licence and they’re looking into it. He even knew my email address, which was a bit creepy. He spoke with a proper British accent, so didn’t seem like a dodgy foreign scam. Then he asked if I’d done any KYC stuff for a crypto site recently. When I told him I don’t have any crypto, he just ended the call. I guess he moved on to the next person who might actually be involved!

Somebody called claiming to be DC Myles from the Met Police in Holborn and said my driver's licence info was involved in a KYC hack. It sounded really believable and well done, almost fell for it. I ended up telling the police and Action Fraud about it to be safe.
