Got a call claiming to be from Lyca Mobile with some amazing offer. When I asked where their main office is located, the woman gave me an answer but I didn’t catch it well. So, I asked her to say it again, but she just hung up on me instead of telling me properly. Bit suspicious, if you ask me.

I've had a right bother with some dodgy calls lately! Some chaps pretending to be from O2 have been ringing me up, saying I can get 45% knocked off my bill. Complete load of nonsense, if you ask me! I've noticed other numbers making the same sort of outrageous offers too, like +442038842914 and +442080799521. No doubt it’s all a right scam! Stay sharp, everyone!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Lyca Mobile, which is actually the network my sim’s on. She started talking about some offer, then asked how much I’m paying monthly for my plan. I told her she should already know since she’s supposedly from my provider. She dodged the question and asked again, so I repeated that she ought to have that info. Ended the call there. Pretty obvious they work out the network from the number and tailor their script accordingly. Total scam.

Got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent saying he was from O2 offering to lower my bill. I told him I’m not even with O2 and asked how he got my details. Then he handed me over to another guy, also with an accent. I asked once more where my info was coming from and requested to speak to whoever handles their GDPR stuff. He just gave me some address in Slough and then just cut the call. Needless to say, I’ve blocked that number now.

Received a call earlier purporting to be from LycaMobile, bragging about a supposed 40% off the latest iPhone. Naturally, I was a bit sceptical and asked, “How do you know I’m a LycaMobile customer?” The woman, whose accent was rather thick and hard to follow, insisted it was information they’d gotten from LycaMobile. I pressed her for the name of her firm, and, quite abruptly, she ended the call!

Got a call from this number yesterday. The person spoke so quickly and mumbled a lot, it was hard to catch anything. I pretended to be interested for a bit, then straight up asked if they were some kind of scammer and how they manage to sleep at night doing this. Still sounded like they were just reading off a script!!! Told them to stop bothering me (in nicer words) and blocked the caller. Seriously, why aren’t authorities cracking down on these annoying time wasters?

I received a phone call from someone purporting to be from O2, promising me a whopping 40% off my bill. Curious, I asked, “How on earth do you know I’m with O2?” The chap, whose accent was quite thick and admittedly tricky to decipher, insisted that O2 had passed on my details. I promptly told him he was mistaken, as I'm actually with a different provider, and hung up rather swiftly.

Received a call from an Asian woman claiming to represent O2, but I've never been a customer of theirs. I have my doubts about this call. The person on the line said they were from Curry’s PC World, pushing some new mobile phone deal. I was just sound asleep when my phone rang and the voice on the other end was so confusing that I didn’t know what he was even saying.
