I got a call from someone claiming to be from Starling Bank’s fraud team and they were super convincing at first. But when I checked the app myself and reached out to Starling through their official app, I found out it was all a scam. They asked me to approve payments and even tried to get me to install some software on my phone - don’t fall for that! It kicked off with my daughter’s account earlier today and then they tried dragging me into it. Funny thing is, they used her surname when calling me, even though we have different last names, so they clearly got it wrong!

This number's a total scam, claiming to be EE. I couldn’t make out what the guy was saying, but if you listened closely, you could hear loads of voices from India in the background. He tried to pass me off to someone saying I'd be getting deliveries or something. So, I rang EE for the real deal, and they warned me never to accept parcels from strangers at my door. These scammers have been on at me nonstop all day, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked every number they've used.

This number rang me out of the blue and I had no clue who it was or what they wanted. Figured it was just another scam call and ignored it.

Got a call from someone sounding like an Indian scammer, just rattling off some rehearsed lines. When I told him to wait so I could pass the phone to Pierogi, he just started babbling nonsense and then ended the call abruptly.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2 and that I'd get a 40% discount, but it turned out to be a total scam.

Had a call from a woman but couldnt catch a single word, Definitely felt like some kinda phone scam.

I received a call claiming to be from O2, presenting an enticing offer of a 40% reduction on my mobile bill. They inquired about my current payment details, but when I requested them to verify the specific amount I was being charged, they abruptly terminated the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

They’re saying they’re from O2 and have a lovely 30% discount to offer on my contract. Sounds a bit fishy, doesn’t it?

I received a rather unusual call claiming to be from 3, offering me an iPhone 14 with a £40 deposit and monthly payments of £21. Having been a customer of theirs for quite some time, I found this proposition quite puzzling, especially after my recent conversation with them just yesterday where the quoted price was significantly higher-almost double, in fact! What struck me as even more odd was their request for my email and address; surely, they ought to have those details already on file? This all feels rather dodgy, and I'm inclined to think these chaps are up to no good.

Received a call claiming to be from my mobile network provider, O2. However, I’m not actually with O2!

Received a call claiming to be from O2. After requesting to be removed from their contact list, the chap on the other end weirdly complimented me, saying, “I’ll sort that out right away as you’re quite stunning and have a delightful voice.” It genuinely gave me the chills!

They’re attempting to lure me in with a supposed 40% reduction on my O2 bill, replete with somewhat persuasive messages to support their claims. Best to steer clear of this lot like the bubonic plague! If such a grand discount were genuinely on offer, you'd have no trouble reaching out to them directly for confirmation. Don’t be taken in by this!

I’ve received a dodgy call purportedly from “O2,” but it seems to originate from a sketchy landline in London. They’re offering what seems like a tantalising 40% discount on your bill, even going as far as to provide a “genuine” text to back their claims. The message might show up as O2 UK or something alike, but don’t be fooled; these folks are not the real deal. The proper number for O2 is “O2UK” - no space, just as it should be.

Had a rather unpleasant experience with a dubious caller who, upon being labelled a scammer, promptly told me to shove it. I can only surmise they’re not a proper business. The bloke on the other end had a rather thick Indian accent and was downright discourteous, to say the least.

Total con artist! Received a call claiming to be from "3," offering me a whopping 50% discount. The catch? I'm not even a customer of theirs! He started prying about what phone I’ve got, so I decided to end the conversation there and hung up. Complete nonsense!

Received a call purportedly from O2, claiming to offer a tempting 40% discount. I was shuffled between several representatives before speaking to someone named "Jordan." When I requested they send me the details via email, as I was a bit sceptical of unsolicited calls, they abruptly ended the conversation. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

A chap named Henry, sporting a bit of a foreign twang, gave me a bell on the 31st of August, 2023, from this number. Clearly, it was just another nuisance caller attempting to peddle some unwanted wares. I hardly allowed him a moment to delve into his pitch before I promptly informed him that such cold calls are against the law and that I’d be reporting him. With that, I ended the call and lodged my complaint. Simple as that-I'm not one for chitchatting with unfamiliar digits!

Received a call purporting to be from O2, promising a whopping 40% off my bill. Quite amusing, considering I’m not even an O2 customer! The moment I pointed that out, he abruptly ended the call! A clear scam, no doubt about it.

I find it quite disheartening to encounter such a level of disrespect towards individuals based on their origin or background. It's crucial to foster understanding and compassion rather than resorting to hateful generalisations. Such sentiments only serve to deepen divides and perpetuate negativity in our society.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, offering me an iPhone 14 for just £25, valid for a mere 24 hours. As a current Vodafone customer, I found this quite peculiar. Just yesterday, I had a conversation with their actual customer service where the price quoted was significantly higher, nearly double, in fact. To make matters even more suspicious, they requested my email and home address, which they should already have on file. It's pretty clear to me-these chaps are definitely up to no good.

An Asian lady rang me up, claiming to be from Autopay Collect. When I mentioned I had no clue what that was, she responded that I must have a wrong number. She politely thanked me for my time before hanging up. Definitely a scam!
