I received a call from someone claiming to be with O2, which made me chuckle as I’m actually with Vodafone! I could tell it was a dodgy call from the get-go, so I thought I’d have a little fun with him instead. I introduced myself as Mike Rotchburns - clever, right? When he asked for a verification code, I replied, “Well, if you’re truly from O2, you must have my number already!” I told him he was just wasting my time. His response? Silence! The line went dead. Absolutely hilarious!

The chap on the line was extremely convincing and didn't let up. He introduced himself as Michael Sean, though he mentioned he was hailing from Sri Lanka. I'm certain this is a scam call - be sure to notify O2 about it!

I ended up picking up after it kept buzzing my phone every single hour, like non stop! The bloke said since I was with 02, he could slash my bills by half. However, her frantic insistence, along with her repeatedly addressing me as "madam," put me on high alert and made it clear that something was off.
