I've held onto my mobile number for a whopping 17 years now. Since day one, I've been getting the odd phone call for 'Norman Hobbs' and 'Debbie England'-names that are completely foreign to me. The callers, who seem to come from a myriad of different numbers, never want to explain why they're trying to get hold of these individuals, leaving me to wonder if it’s something to do with debt recovery. Just the other day, I received another call specifically asking for 'Norman Hobbs' and they promptly hung up when I attempted to clarify that I’m not him! Is it possible that Norman Hobbs is that chap who rang me shortly after I got this number from Asda? He accused me of nicking his girlfriend’s phone and even threatened to come round and give me a piece of his mind!

Exercise caution, everyone! We've got a second mobile which only Vodafone is aware of, and today alone, I've received four calls from this number-each one unanswered and no voicemail left behind. It's quite alarming that they seem to have obtained this information from somewhere! I’d advise being wary, as it’s probable that this is a scammer at work.
