We’ve had this number for nearly a decade, and before us, the owners (with a different number) weren’t any sort of ‘Cook’ family either. The people ringing must be working off some seriously outdated info. One time my husband joked and said Mrs Cook had passed away, trying to put them off, but nope, the calls just kept on coming. Just a heads up, if you get scam calls, make sure you report them to the ICO. Posting about it here won't faze the scammers, but the ICO actually take action and it only takes a couple of minutes on their website. Don’t bother your phone provider though, they’re mostly happy to sell you caller ID services and make more money from blocking calls!
