I received a call from a centre that was buzzing with chatter in the background. An individual with an Indian accent claimed to be from BT Openreach, so do be cautious!

On 6th September 2023 around 9:40 in the morning, I got a call from this number. There was a brief silence before a woman spoke - she had a thick Indian or Pakistani accent and said her name was Alison from BT Openreach. She never bothered to say my name. The noise in the background was pretty loud, like a busy kids' classroom or something. I just said goodbye quickly and ended the call right away.
